Unlike many other
radio stations that program country, the "Country Music Hall"
showcases all types of the genre from the modern sounds of
Diamond Rio, Garth Brooks and Martina McBride to the music of
Ray Price, Hank Williams, Sr., Bill Anderson and other legends
of the Grand Ole Opry along with a great mix of authentic
Lafayette, Louisiana style Cajun, Kentuck fried Bluegrass and a
distinct blend of country Gospel, it's America's music at its
best. Bill Melody is a former entertainment writer for Calkin's
Newspapers. He is a professional musician as well as a free
lance artist, cartoonist and writer. Melody us a former public
relations director for the Shriners Organization of Southern New
Jersey. He produced shows featuring Grand Ole Opry performers
for more than ten years for the Shriners. He is also a member of
the Circle Club of the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music
Association (CMA) both in Nashville, Tennessee. Bill has been a
member of the WBCB family since 1993.
